Payment terminals¶

Connect and integrate a payment terminal with a POS system to accept multiple payment options, including credit and debit cards.

Configuration¶

To activate a payment terminal and allow payments to be processed through it, follow these steps:

Go to the POS settings.
Scroll down to the Payment Terminals section.
Activate the relevant payment terminal.
Click Save.
Click Payment method below the selected terminal to configure the related payment method.
On the payment method form:
1. Ensure the Journal type is set to Bank.
2. In the Integration field, select Terminal from the dropdown menu.
3. In the Integrate with field, select one of the activated terminals from the dropdown menu, or click Setup on the terminal’s card.
  
  Tip
  It is also possible to Activate a new terminal directly from the terminal card.
4. Complete the terminal-specific configuration for one of the following providers:
  - Adyen
  - Dpopay
  - Ingenico
  - Mercado Pago
  - Mollie
  - Pine Labs
  - QFPay
  - Razorpay
  - SIX
  - Stripe
  - Tyro
  - Viva.com
  - Worldline

To process an order payment using a configured terminal in the POS register, select the terminal’s payment method on the Payment screen, then follow the instructions displayed on the terminal screen.

Once the transaction is successful, the payment is automatically validated in the POS register.

Note

If a connection issue occurs between NightPOS and the payment terminal, the transaction is automatically canceled.
You can also manually abort and validate the order by clicking Force done in the POS register.
To cancel the payment request, click Cancel in the POS register.
